Our Jeep Travels

Since we got our Jeep in the beginning of January, we have been on 2 off-roading trips, not getting into too much trouble despite our non-mud terrain tires.  

The first time we went to Reiter trails up past Monroe on highway 2 in mid-January, just a couple weeks after buying our Jeep.  Here are some pictures.

Going down the first hill climb.  It was a lot steeper than it looks in the picture.  It looks like it's straight down!

We made it!  It's a bit more frightening than I would like, but we'll see how it goes after we get the new lift and tires.

Back in the states

Well, Andy and I have been back in the states for almost a month now.  We spent time with both our families for the holidays, and then found an apartment in north Seattle right after Christmas.   Andy started his new job position with Kiewit Pacific right after the new year.   He is working right in downtown Seattle walking distance to Safeco field.  He's been given a lot more responsibility as an office engineer on the project site.  I am now looking for a lab job.
